Rules

1. We expect everybody to be respectful. We don't demand that our members be nice, but we do demand that they aren't mean. We will not tolerate degradation, attacks, or insults against any of our members. Bullying is not, under any circumstances, acceptable and we will not tolerate or condone bigotry.
2. We will not permit members younger than sixteen years of age. There can be mature aspects to the roleplay on this forum, and we feel that it is not suitable for anybody younger than sixteen to be subjected to this material. If we find that a member has registered with the site who is younger than sixteen, they will be banned.
   
3. We ask that if a thread contains mature content, that a warning be mentioned in the title. If we find a thread with mature content without this warning, we will first contact the creator of the thread and if after 24 hours the warning hasn't been added, the thread will be removed. 
4. With that in mind, we do not permit explicit violence or sexual content to be roleplayed on this forum. While swearing, violence, and sexual themes are allowed, we do not want this privilege to be taken advantage of. If a member(s) has such a strong desire to roleplay explicit scenes, we ask that they take it somewhere else. In the case that it isn't, the member(s) will be banned.
   

1. No member, not even the admins, are permitted to God-mod (control the actions of another character) or kill a character without the permission of the creator of said character. In the event that the creator of a character has left the forum or been removed, the admins will supply a suitable plot for the absence of their character, OR in rare cases we will allow the character to be adopted by another member.
   
2. The admins have agreed that we shall not place an age minimum on characters. Please do not take advantage of this. We understand that in many historical cultures it was natural for a man above the age of eighteen to marry a woman who was still in her early adolescence. However for this roleplay the admins have agreed that we wish to not solicit girls younger than fifteen to sexual content.
3. We ask that our members refrain from establishing plots that will affect the entire site, or even an entire kingdom, without gaining permission from the admins. More often than not we will permit our members to pursue these plots, but we want to make sure that they will not contradict anything else that is already happening on the site.
4. While we do accept all levels of roleplay and strive to encourage the advancement of our members' writing skills, we ask that all roleplaying posts meet a minimum of 200 words.
5. The roleplay is occurring in liquid time; members may roleplay their characters in more than one thread at once.  

1. All characters must be accepted by an admin before being played.
2. No character is perfect. There will be no superheroes, Gary-Stus or Mary-Sues played on this forum. That being said, no character is entirely evil either. While we all love drama, we will not accept characters that are entirely imperfect. Do not make a character that is on the extreme of either side of this spectrum.
3. Before making a character, all members must check with the owners of other characters that they might effect, to make sure that they aren't contradicting anything that has already been established.
4. We ask that all characters have an image reference, of a real person. No anime images will be accepted. With this comes the need for Face Claims. Once a character has been accepted, our members are asked to claim the image used in the appropriate section of the forum. If the image is a painting of the real person please make sure to credit the artist.
   
5. We ask that all characters are realistic. This means that characters are human. Also, we ask that you only create original characters. You may base your character on an existing character from a game/show/book, however they may not be exactly the same.
6. All of the characters on this site have a title, and we ask that their title be claimed in the appropriate section of the forum after the character has been accepted. 
7. Our members are permitted to have as many characters as they want, however we ask that they try to remain active with all of them. If a character falls inactive for more than two weeks, we ask that it be retired and their title and face claim be relinquished.
   
8. This roleplay is a realistic-based Medieval/Renaissance influenced world. There is no fantasy aspects nor magic and when roleplaying an ailment or even within a battle we must put in realistic ideals towards how we play our characters in these instances. 
9. We do permit characters to be posted as works in progress, however if they are not completed within two weeks they will be removed. For royal characters and canons that time is reduced to one week, so that the site is not inhibited and forced to halt plots. 

Accounts

1. We ask that all members only have one account. Do NOT create separate accounts for your characters. We encourage the use of trackers and plotters however they are not required.
   
2. We ask that our members do not advertise in their signatures; that is what the advertising board is for. Please do not place anything in your signature that doesn't relate to you, your characters, or the roleplay.
   
3. Speaking of signatures, please do not make them overly flashy. In other words, do not make them obnoxious. Members will be asked to remove overly large signatures and signatures that are visually unappealing
