Idris Vakath

[attr="class","classicbox"]Standing at six feet two inches, Idris is one of the taller princes in Nydderan, and possibly one of the most filled out. Idris has a head full of dark messy hair that is almost untamable, though some would say it fit his personality well. His eyes look like moonrings though they do not change colour. They hold a plethora of colour; mainly a silvered blue with a soft brown ring around his pupil. They are known to stop people in their tracks, the eyes of his mother on a dark Vakath man, an odd sight. Idris' face is covered in freckles boasting different sizes all over his body as well. He usually has facial hair that is taken care of, as he feels odd about lacking it. Like many of the Vakath royals, he generally wears dark tunics and coats (due to the fact it is often cold in Vakath). [break][break]
Idris is a very self aware young gentleman and he is not shy to tell it how it is. He is strong-willed and stubborn much like the entire clan of the Vakaths however he has a bit more of a filter that can only be broken by the stupidity of others. He lacks a short fuse like his father and younger brother; but something like abuse and ill-temper can trigger him to snap. He is very responsible though, and probably the easiest Vakath to get along though they aren't evil people it just takes a rather decent human to fully respect some of his family members. Especially under the influence and in the presence of their father who is a very cynical person. Because of his family's oddities and his capacity to deal with many different personalities the Knights and Guards of Vakath tend to listen more to their Crown Prince than their King. He can be a rather inspiring person, and he enjoys oddities or the good in people. Idris is said to be able to find the good in anyone or anything no matter how 'dark' or disturbed that person is. Or how much of an enemy that person has been claimed to be by Idris' father. Idris is a rather intellectual man, and thinks with a tactical mindset. If it's not good for Vakath he probably won't engage in the activity. Some say this is the reason there hasn't been a large-scale war between Vakath and Aliliv since the agriculture began to boom again. Idris is very sword-savvy but his weapon choice is a shield. He has a lot of might and shield bashing is his way of fighting. Idris is also known to enjoy nature and flowers, he is not afraid to grab a daisy and tuck it in someone's hair, or his own hair for that matter. His masculinity and person is not appalled by feminine-considered aspects. Idris is a bit spiritual, and believes in the Nydderan and Astadan gods.
[break][break]Idris is the oldest son born to King Rogun Vakath and Queen Mia Vakath. Hoping his son would be a war-crazy young man like himself, Rogun took to the idea of drilling wars and tactics into his son since he was a very young boy of the age of 3. Idris was given a book to learn how to read during this time too. Idris was forced into many things by his father and his mother, though softer when she was less sickly was stubborn in her own way. Mia believed her husband was the God of War and to this day regrets the pressures she placed on her oldest son. When he was five, his parents gave birth to Harlun and to his father's dismay started to show his niche for oddities and the good in people. At times Idris would pick flowers, and enjoy the nature around him and it drove his father insane. But his father drilled a bit of his personality into Harlun, so much that it stuck. When Harlun was old enough to talk the smacking began. Rogun would never beat Harlun (or Medea or Mira later on) but he would definitely backhand him if he was out of line. Idris was the one who had it a little tougher since he was 5 years the senior of his brother. The smacking and hitting and aggressive sparring didn't end until Idris was 13 and the short war started. [break][break]Idris learned how to fight like any page and squire did but he was thrown in the war at 13 and came out at 16 with a totally different reaction to fighting. This hard approach had sharpened his respect for knights and an even more respect for life as a whole as he had killed at such a young age.  When Idris was 13 he also became a brother again but for the first three years of his sisters' lives he barely knew them and only saw them when he'd come back from the war to report to the commander. When the war was done when he was 16 he became Mira and Medea's father figure and did not allowed his father to unleash his anger on the twins. He also kept Harlun closer now that he knew what death and loss of family looked like on the faces of those families who lost their family member to war. At 16 he naturally became the Crown Prince, though it had been an evident happening since he was born. His mother had grown very ill from the birth of the twins and he spent the last 13 years working at keeping the Kingdom running and making sure his father didn't go on a war path. The abuse stopped fully from his father when Idris was 19 and his father hit him with the back of his sword and went to slash which was meant with a parry and Idris broke his father's arm. [break]Idris recently has been sent to the Aliliv Kingdom to sign a temporary peace treaty with the Crown Princess.  [break][break]
